Finance Officer (89444): APS 4, Expression of Interest, $61,316 – $65,417 pa plus superannuation

Under general direction and within guidelines, perform the functions of Finance Officer. This role includes the following duties: accounts receivable, reconciliation of bank accounts, management of petty cash, accounts payable, and maintenance of customer and supplier master records within the FMIS system, for the National Film and Sound Archive (NFSA).

The NFSA is seeking a highly motivated, energetic and experienced finance officer who can demonstrate their strong financial skills. The successful applicant needs to be a problem solver who has a good rapport with both internal and external stakeholders. The Finance Officer will work as part of a small team and needs to be capable of supporting others.

Experience in the Australian Government environment is desirable, as is a relevant Accounting qualification and/or relevant financial experience.

Fundraising Development Officer (89443): APS 6, Non Ongoing, $74,884 – $83,603 pa plus superannuation

The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia (NFSA) requires a fundraising professional to help increase our self-generated income through fundraising, philanthropy and partnerships. As outlined in the NFSA’s Strategic Plan 2015-2018, the aim is to have increased self-generated income to $2 million annually by 2018.

Under limited direction from the Manager, Funding and Stakeholder Development, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a range of fundraising activities including direct donor campaigns, sponsorship development, philanthropic proposals, and managing the NFSA’s Fundraising and Stakeholder Client Relationship Management (CRM) database.
